For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Isaiah 61:11
Our God is the creator of the world. He created man without sin, breathed life into him and placed him in the Garden of Eden. One cool evening, God went to the Garden of Eden to take a walk with man in the Garden. Unfortunately, that particular walk never happened because prior to God’s arrival man sinned. Man’s sin caused him to have to leave the Garden of Eden forever. We can only imagine how disappointed God must have felt since He was looking forward to that walk with man. Sin places a heavy burden on man.
For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life. Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave reconciles us back to God.
Jesus says, “Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn about me for I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
In His Garden you will find peace and rest for your soul. Take a walk with God in His Garden; He desires to walk with you.
