Scriptures
We believe all Scripture is inspired by God and is used to teach us what is true and to show us what is wrong in our lives. The scriptures correct us when we are wrong and teach us to do what is right. (2 Timothy 3:16)
The Triune Godhead
We believe in one God that exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. After God the Father created the heavens and the earth, the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the waters. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one. (John 1:1 & 14, Genesis 1:2 & 1 John 5:7)
God the Father
God possesses all power; He created the heaven and the earth. He is present everywhere at all time and knows everything that there is to know. (Genesis 1:1, 1Kings 8:27 & 1 Chr 28:9)
God the Son
God has given Jesus all authority in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18)
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit will give you guidance and powers in your life. (Acts 1:8)
Deity of Christ Jesus
He is the Word of life, who existed from the beginning. He was with the Father. He is the one who is eternal life. (1 John 1: 1-2)
Virgin Birth
This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about; His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:18 & 20-21)
Man
God made man in His image, but man fell into sin when he yielded to temptation and ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 1:26 & 3:11-12)
Salvation
Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that you receive salvation by placing your faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and He is coming back to earth again. (Acts 5:30, Luke 24:46 & Mark 13:26)
We believe that the only spiritual hope for man is to personally trust that Jesus is the son of God; He came to this earth and lived a perfect life. He was crucified for our sins, and rose from the dead to defeat sin and death. By the grace of God through repentance and belief, a person becomes an eternal child of God our Father.
