Apartment Complex Ministry
His Garden Ministries has a full Sunday Worship service with residents of an apartment complex for individuals with special needs. It is truly a blessing to share the Gospel of Jesus with the residents of this complex. The residents are very involved in the worship service. What a glorious time we have praising and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to reach as many of the residents of the complex, as possible, for Christ.
Jail Ministry
Pastor Benton ministers to inmates at the local jail. These inmates are 18 years and older and comes from all walks of life. Pastor Benton has bible study with the inmates. He has worked with inmates on the work release program. He shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with the inmates allowing the word of God to transform their lives.
“…to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Luke 4:18
Nursing Home
His Garden Ministries shares the love of Jesus with seniors. Many seniors in long term nursing homes are often tucked away and forgotten. Generally, these seniors do not receive many visitors and are very lonely. We go to the nursing homes to remind them that they are precious to God and that He loves them. God needs us to share his love with every generation, especially those who have provided for us. “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.”
“I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you…” Isaiah 46:4
Prison Ministry
Pastor Benton has been ministering to prisoners in Florida for many years. The gospel is provided to the prisoners in a full Worship service that allows the inmates a chance to praise and worship God. This is a good opportunity for inmates to learn about God and have their lives transformed. They learn about forgiveness and are given hope. God gives them a second chance to get their lives in order. This gives them the opportunity to make all things new, so they can learn how to be there for their families, thereby reducing the prison recidivism rates.
‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Matthew 25:35-36
